Santa Dramatic Play Ideas
Santa's workshop
Place a small table in your dramatic play area, supply it with
supplies
(Candy Cane cut out / pom poms / glue sticks, etc) to allow the
children to create
a variety of Christmas decorations to hang in the classroom / home. When
the
dramatic play area was not open, I created a sign that said
Santa's Workshop
Open on one side and the other side said Santa's Workshop Closed.
Ho Ho Ho
Let the children take turns dressing up and pretending to be Santa
Claus while all the other children are the Elves... making toys.
North Pole
Create a sleigh out of cardboard or wood. Make reindeer
headbands for the children to wear and pretend to
pull the sleigh. Cover the floor with white felt or a white
sheet to create snow. Add a sign that says "North Pole."
