Christmas Tree Science Ideas
Evergreen Trees
Using the parts that you cut off the bottom of
an evergreen tree, compare the needles...bring them
back to the class and paint with them! Also back in the class, have them
rub the needles between
their fingers and smell the scent left...then wash their hands....find a
tree that has dried brown
needles on it...talk about how the tree is evergreen until we cut it
down...perhaps there
is a tree with pinecones....or a birds nest...or sap that has hardened on
it.
