              Bell Games

              Drop the Bells
This game is played similar to Drop the Hankey.
Before hand, make a cluster of bells using
a pipe cleaner and 4 jingle bells.  Thread the jingle bells onto the
              center of the pipe cleaner
and twist the ends together to form a handle.  Have the children form
              a circle and all sit
down.  One child takes the jingle bells cluster and walks around the
              circle while ringing
the bells.  Then that child places the bells behind another child and
              begins to run around
the circle once and rejoins the group on the floor.   The child
sitting in front of the bells
turns around and grabs the bells and it is now his/her turn.  You can
              also use other
types of bells.  Kids love it when we use the cow bell.

              Ring the Bell Game

Using large heavy duty cardboard, cut a large bell shape from the
              center.
Add ribbons with jingle bells attached to hang from the open
              middle area.
Encourage the kids to throw bean bags to ring the bell.

                Bell
              Guessing Game
Get bells of different sizes and listen to the
different tone each jingles. Have the child close
their eyes and ring one of the bells. Have them open their eyes
and tell you which bell you rung.

              Which Bell is Missing
Display a few jingle bells of different colors or different types
              of bells.
Have the children look at them and then close their eyes.
              Remove one bell
and have the children open their eyes and determine which one is missing.
