Bunny Recipe Ideas
Bunny Face Salad
Ingredients
Needed:
Lettuce, cottage cheese, 1 pear, celery stick, raisins, 1
red grape.
Directions:
Arrange
lettuce on a salad plate. Spoon cottage cheese on top of
the lettuce.
Peel and core a pear, cut it in half (or use
canned halves). Place one half on top
of the cottage
cheese for the bunny face. Add pieces of celery for
whiskers, raisins
for eyes and a grape for the nose. Cut
the remaining pear section in half for the ears.
Bunny Food
Talk to your children about
the different foods that bunnies
eat and then have some for snack (Lettuce, Carrots, etc)
Bunny Biscuits
For each
bunny you need two refrigerator biscuits. Cut the first one into thirds,
use the two end pieces as ears to attach to the other biscuit. Use raisins
for the
eyes, red candy for the nose and licorice for the whiskers. Bake as
directed.
Marshmallow Bunnies
Ingredients Needed:
large marshmallows
prepared white frosting
shoestring licorice (i used the pull and peel licorice)
mini marshmallows
assorted candies or sprinkles for decorating
Directions:
Stack two large marshmallows for each bunny, securing some frosting
between them to hold them together.
Tie licorice around the middle of each stack to separate head and body.
Cut some large marshmallows
into quarters lengthwise, using two quarters for the ears, attaching them
with some of the frosting.
Attach 4 mini marshmallows for bunny paws and 1 for a cottontail, again
with frosting. Also,
use frosting to attach candies, sprinkles, etc. for eyes, nose, etc.
Licorice may also be used for whiskers.
Bunnies on the
Lawn
Pour green jello into a 13x9 pan to about 1/2-inch thick. Chill till set.
Thoroughly drain pear halves and place cut side down on jello. At the
large
end of the pear put a small scoop of whipped cream for a tail. Use
almonds
for the ears, chocolate chips or raisins for the eyes, and pieces of
cherries for a tongue.
