Bells Math Ideas
Jingle All the Way
This activity combines counting practice with
some timely accompaniment.
Have children count as they pass a jingle bell bracelet around
the circle,
stopping at the fifth child. Encourage the child to shake the
bracelet enthusiastically.
Then continue in the same way, beginning another round with the
next child in the circle.
Sorting Bells
Set out different sized/colored jingle bells for
the children to sort.
Counting Bells
Print out a Counting Chart and have child place
one jingle
bell onto each square as they say the numbers aloud.
Counting Chart 1 - 5 / 1 - 10 / 1 - 25
Use jingle bells as counters.
