Let your children
dress up as pirates.
Make hats or tie bandanas around their heads.
Draw on a eyeliner mustache and hang a shower curtain ring over one ear.
Using paper or
felt, cut out a band and eye patch for each pirate.
Make vests out of old shirts with the sleeves, collar and buttons removed.
Binoculars made by attaching two cardboard rolls together.
Poker chip booty for the hidden treasure hunt.
Draw a hook shape on cardboard. Cut it out and insert it in the bottom of a
styrofoam cup.
The kids then insert their hand and it looks like a Pirate's Hook Hand.
Cut out a Parrot pattern that your children
color and attach it to their shoulder.

Make ship out of large cardboard boxes.

could get some dress up clothes (can be found around Halloween)
and the children could dress up like pirates.
