Use a guitar
and maracas...Let the children take turns strumming the
guitar and shaking the maracas.
Then play Mexican
music. Have the children listen carefully to it.
Let them identify when
they hear the guitar and the
maracas. When they hear the guitar, have them
pretend to strum. When they hear the maracas, have
them shake their arms.
