In My Swimming Pool
(Sung to the
tune of: "Do Your Ears Hang Low?")
I can stay real cool
In my little swimming pool.
On a sunny summer day
I can splash around and play.
When I wear my bathing suit,
I'll be cool and I'll be cute
In my swimming pool!
Swimming
I can dive
(move hands flattened together)
I can swim
(swimming motion)
I can float
(hands out to sides with head thrown back)
I can fetch
but dog paddle
(paddle like a dog)
is the stroke
that I do best.
Splash & Kick
(Sung to the tune of: "Down By The Station")
When the sun is shining,
I like to go swimming,
Swimming in my backyard,
Swimming in my pool.
Splashing and kicking
Water all around me,
Splash, splash, kick, kick,
Keeping cool.
Mud
Mud is very nice to feel
All squishy between the toes!
I'd rather wade in wiggly mud
than smell a yellow rose
Playground Song
(Sung to the tune of: "Row, Row, Row Your Boat")
Pump, pump, pump the swing,
Pump the swing so high.
You pump so high
You touch the sky
Then down you come again.
Climb, climb, climb the bars,
Climb the bars so high.
You climb so high
You touch the sky
Then down you climb again.
Ride, ride, ride your trike,
Around the yard again.
You ride so fast
You're back at last
Then around you go again.
Pop, Pop, Popsicle
(Sung to the tune of: "Row, Row, Row Your Boat")
Pop, pop, popsicle
A yummy frozen treat!
Cherry, lemon, orange, grape!
Cool and fun to eat!
You are My Sunshine
You are my sunshine.
My only sunshine.
You make me happy when skies are gray.
You'll never know dear.
How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.
Summer Sun
The summer sun in the sky
Shining, shining up so high
Makes it warm for outside fun
To play at the park and run
To swim hike and fish
And go on a picnic, if you wish!

One lovely summer day.

That quickly ran away.

Go winding in and out,
And little fishes in it
Were swimming all about.
