Summer Bulletin Board Ideas
We're Stepping Into
Summer
Celebrate the arrival of summer
with this display. Have each child step barefoot into a
shallow pan of
washable glue. Then hold his/her hand as he/she walks across a
length of bulletin board paper.
At the end of the paper, have a supply of wet paper towels handy
to wipe off any excess glue.
Next, invite the child to sprinkle colored sand over his/her
footprints; then have the child
write his/her name under them. If desired, provide summer themed
rubber stamps
and stickers for each child to add to the display. Hang the
sandy footprints in the
hallway outside your classroom with the title "We're Stepping Out
Into Summer!"
