Elves Arts & Crafts Ideas

Paper Elf

Give each student a 6x6 square of green, and a 4x4 piece of flesh colored
construction paper. Show them how to make a tiny elf with a square body,
rectangle legs and arms, circle head and hands, and a triangle hat.

Elmer the Elf

Give each child a green capital letter 'E'. This will be the body. Assist the children in cutting out a circle
or oval for the elf's face and a green triangle for the hat. Precut little mittens, boots with curled toes, and
little rectangle belt buckles. To assemble, the head and hat are glued to the top of the E. The belt buckle
to the center line. The mittens will be on either end of the middle line. The boots, on either end of the
bottom line. You can also provide pom-poms and/or jingle bells for the hat and boots.
Oh, I almost forgot, I precut little pointed ears as well.
