Bells Arts & Crafts

Aluminum Foil Bells

Cover styrofoam cups with aluminum foil. Attach pipe cleaner.
Insert the pipe  cleaner up through the center of the bell.
Bend the pipe cleaner to make a hanger.

Foam Bell

Cut out two bell shapes from craft foam for each child. Use a hole punch to
make a hole at the top of each bell shape.  Thread a jingle bell onto a pc. of
ribbon.  Put a line of glue down the center of one of the foam bells and lay the
ribbon along it so that the jingle bell pokes out at the bottom.  Glue the second
foam bell on top of the first so that the ribbon is sandwiched between the two
bell shapes.  (Hot glue gun works best)  Thread another ribbon through
the holes at the top of the bell.  Tie a knot in the ribbon and hang.

Jingle Bell Rock

Cut bell shapes from cardstock or poster board.  Have each child decorate a bell shape
with crayons or markers.  Laminate them.  Hot glue a real jingle bell to the bottom of
each laminated bell shape and tape a popsicle stick to the back of the
laminated bell shape.  Let your children shake their bells to Jingle Bell Rock!

Christmas Bell

Make a Christmas bell from a plastic cup. Punch hole in the
bottom of the cup and attach a pipe cleaner and jingle bells.

Paper Christmas Bell

Trace around a bell pattern and cut out.
Add a dinger and a real ribbon at the top.

Styrofoam Cup Bells

Make styrofoam cup bells by painting or decorating the outside of a cup with markers
and stickers.  Then thread a pipe cleaner through the top and make a loop on outside
to hold the bell.  Thread on a jingle bell on the inside pipe cleaner and tie knot at the end.

Bell Shakers

Make a shaker for your child by putting two or three jingle bells into a small box or a paper
towel tube and securely tape the container closed.  Let the children decorate their shakers by gluing
or taping on short crepe-paper streamers.  Have them shake their shakers all around to make the bells ring.
