Butterfly Large Motor Ideas
Caterpillar Crawl
Line up in a row, down on
knees...hold onto back
of person before you...crawl like a caterpillar.
Fly Like A Butterfly
Encourage the children to fly
like butterflies outdoors.
Flying Butterflies
Give each child a thin scarf.
Have them hold an end in each hand.
Play music and let the children fly like butterflies to the music.
Caterpillar Limbo
A green pool noodle works great for this.
Add googly eyes to make it look like a giant caterpillar.
